Can I change the rules of my account?

Yes. Every plan has a Build Your Own option. Pick the account size, then change the rules that matter to you: remove the daily loss limit, start on a 95% split, switch a one-step to static drawdown, take payouts on demand, add a free reset. The price updates live before you pay, and friendlier rules cost more while stricter rules cost less. Your bespoke rules are written into your account and shown on your dashboard from day one.

What is Bold Funded?

Bold Funded is a proprietary trading firm. You prove your skill on a simulated evaluation account, then trade a simulated funded account and keep up to 95% of the profits you generate. All accounts are simulated; you never risk your own trading capital beyond the one-time evaluation fee.

Is there a time limit?

No. There is no time limit on any Bold Funded plan. Take as long as you need to hit the objective while respecting the loss limits.

How fast are payouts and how are they paid?

Every payout is processed via crypto (USDT or USDC) or Rise, your choice. On average a payout lands within 4 hours of approval; if an approved payout takes longer than 24 hours, we add $250 to it. Cycles are every 5 days on Futures Bold, 7 days on Bolt and 14 days on Forex and Instant plans.

How is drawdown calculated?

It depends on the plan and it is printed on the plan card for the exact account size you pick. Forex Two-Step Classic and Forex Instant use a static drawdown from the starting balance. Forex One-Step, every futures plan (Bold, Bolt, Instant) and every Perps plan use an end-of-day trailing drawdown that locks once you reach the buffer. Our risk engine evaluates every tick and shows the exact threshold in your dashboard.

Can I trade news, hold over the weekend, or use EAs?

Yes on all Forex plans: news trading, weekend holding and EAs are allowed. Prohibited behaviour is limited to what abuses the simulated environment: latency arbitrage, tick scalping, copy trading between different customers' accounts and account sharing.

Forex: MetaTrader 5 on our own direct licence, plus TradingView. Futures: Volt Futures, our own futures platform with DOM, one-click brackets and multi-chart layouts. Perps: Volt Perps, our own 24/7 perps platform. Both run in the browser on desktop and mobile and let you set your own daily risk limits.

What are Perps?

Perpetual futures: contracts with no expiry that track an index price through a funding rate paid between longs and shorts every 8 hours. On Bold Funded Perps you trade crypto 24/7 and stocks, indices, commodities and FX as perps 24/5, with isolated margin and per-instrument leverage up to 75x, all as simulated accounts priced from the major perp venues. Payouts in USDT or USDC.

How big can my account get?

Forex and Futures balances grow by 25% of the current balance every second payout, automatically, up to $1 million in simulated capital per funded account. The daily and overall loss limits scale with the balance at the same percentages.

Traders from most countries, 18 or older. Futures plans are available to US residents. Forex (CFD) and Perps plans are not available to residents of the United States or Canada. Bold Funded is not licensed by the FSRA and does not provide services to residents of St Lucia. Residents of sanctioned countries cannot be onboarded.

Do I need to verify my identity?

Yes, once, before your first payout (and before purchase if you pay by card). Verification takes about two minutes with a government ID and a selfie and is handled by our KYC partner.

Can I hold more than one account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can hold up to 15 challenge accounts and 5 funded accounts per market (Forex, Futures, Perps) at the same time, any size, and each funded account scales on its own payout record. You may not copy trades between your own accounts and another customer's.

Is the evaluation fee refundable?

On Two-Step Classic the full fee is refunded with your first funded payout. Other plans are non-refundable once the account is issued, except within 14 days if you have not placed a trade.

No. Bold Funded (boldfunded.com) is a separate company, Bold Funded Ltd, and is not affiliated with Bold Fund (boldfund.io), BoldFunds or any similarly named firm. Our only website is boldfunded.com and our only support address is support@boldfunded.com.

How is the daily loss measured?

From your balance at 00:00 server time, including floating profit and loss. If equity falls by the daily limit at any point, all positions are closed and the account is failed, so leave room for spread and swap.

What is the difference between static and trailing drawdown?

Static: the floor is fixed below your starting balance and never moves, so profits give you more room. Trailing EOD: the floor follows your highest end-of-day balance until you reach the lock level, then freezes at the starting balance. Intraday equity never moves the floor on any Bold Funded plan.

Is there a consistency rule on Forex?

Not on Two-Step or One-Step. Instant Funded has a 40% consistency rule on the funded account: no single day may contribute more than 40% of your total profit at payout time.

Yes to all three. EAs and copiers between your own Bold Funded accounts are allowed. Copying trades to or from another customer's account, and any form of latency or tick arbitrage, are prohibited.

The floor sits a fixed amount below your highest end-of-day balance. It only moves at the daily close, never intraday. Once your balance reaches the lock level (drawdown plus $100 above start) the floor freezes at starting balance plus $100.
