These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Bold Funded Ltd, an International Business Company registered in Saint Lucia ("Bold Funded", "we", "us"). They govern your use of www.boldfunded.com, the Bold Funded trader dashboard and every evaluation, simulated funded account and related service we provide (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or purchasing an evaluation you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Risk Disclosure and AML/KYC Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. What Bold Funded is, and is not
Bold Funded operates a skills-evaluation programme for traders. Every account we provide, including accounts we call "funded", is a simulated trading account that uses real market data. You never trade real capital belonging to you or to us, no real orders are routed to any exchange or liquidity provider on your behalf, and no account balance shown in your dashboard is money held for you. Payouts are performance-based rewards calculated from simulated profit under the rules of your plan; they are not proceeds of real trading.
Bold Funded is not a broker, dealer, exchange, investment adviser, fund manager or bank. We do not provide investment advice, and nothing on our website, in our educational material or in our community channels is a recommendation to buy or sell any instrument. Bold Funded Ltd is not licensed or supervised by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia or by any other financial regulator, and the Services are not regulated financial services.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Services only if you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher), are acting in your own name and not on behalf of another person, have not previously been banned from the Services, and are not resident in a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions or on a list we publish from time to time.
Forex (CFD) plans are not available to residents of the United States of America or Canada. Futures plans are available to United States residents. We do not provide services to residents of Saint Lucia. We may refuse, suspend or close any account where we believe these requirements are not met.
3. Your account
You may hold one Bold Funded customer account. Within it you may purchase several evaluations and hold several simulated funded accounts, up to the limits shown on each plan. You must give accurate information when you register, keep it current, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Account sharing, selling or transferring an account, and using another person's account are prohibited.
4. Evaluations, funded accounts and rules
Each plan's rules (profit target, maximum drawdown, daily loss limit where applicable, minimum trading days, consistency rule where applicable, contract or lot limits, payout cycle, profit split and any other parameter) are published on the plan card for the account size you buy and in Bold Funded Rules Explained. The rules shown on your dashboard at the time of purchase are the rules of your account; where a Build Your Own configuration was purchased, the configuration recorded at checkout is the rule set.
Our risk engine enforces the rules automatically. When a rule is breached, open positions are closed and the account is marked failed; you may purchase a reset where the plan offers one. Rule evaluation by the risk engine is final except where we determine, after review, that a technical error on our side caused an incorrect breach, in which case we will reinstate or replace the account.
Funded accounts are also subject to our Responsible Trading Review: we recommend risking no more than 1% of the starting balance per trade, and if a review finds a funded account traded with oversized risk, or flagged by our risk systems, we may move its payouts to the on-demand cycle (35% end-of-day consistency and a 2.5% minimum return before each request, every other rule unchanged). For accounts sold from November 2026 this is part of the rules pinned at purchase; before a funded account is issued you also sign the Funded Trader Agreement, which includes it.
We may change the rules of plans offered for sale at any time. Changes do not apply to accounts already purchased unless the change is in your favour or is required by law, a platform provider or a data provider, in which case we will give notice by email and in your dashboard.
5. Prohibited trading conduct
The purpose of the Services is to evaluate genuine trading skill in conditions that reflect a real market. The following are prohibited and result in failure of the account, forfeiture of any pending payout and, in serious or repeated cases, closure of your customer account: exploiting latency, delayed quotes, demo-server pricing errors or any feature of the simulated environment that would not exist in a live market; tick scalping or high-frequency strategies designed to exploit feed delays; copy trading, mirror trading or signal-following between accounts belonging to different customers; hedging or coordinating positions across accounts belonging to different customers; holding opposite positions on the same or an equivalent instrument across any of your own accounts at the same time (internal hedging), whether the accounts are in evaluation or funded and whether or not the positions were opened at the same moment; martingale sizing (repeatedly increasing position size after losses) and grid or averaging-down strategies that stack same-direction positions at fixed intervals; staking the account on one or a few oversized positions (all-in gambling); using a third party to trade your account, or trading someone else's; and any behaviour that is unlawful or would be impossible or prohibited in a real brokerage account.
Manual trading, expert advisors, automated strategies on your own account, news trading, holding over weekends (forex) and copying between your own Bold Funded accounts are permitted unless the plan card says otherwise.
We monitor how accounts are accessed and traded, including VPN, proxy, Tor and remote-server (VPS) connections, and we warn you on the platform when we detect internal hedging. Using a VPN or VPS is not prohibited by itself, but where it is used to conceal your identity or location, to share or sell an account, to operate more than one customer account, or to let someone else trade, it is treated as prohibited conduct. Detected activity is recorded on your account and reviewed before any payout; a payout may be declined where prohibited conduct is confirmed, and we will tell you which rule applied.
6. Fees, activation and resets
Evaluation fees, activation fees (where a plan has one) and reset fees are one-time charges shown at checkout in US dollars. Promo codes reduce the price shown at checkout only; they cannot be applied after purchase or combined. Fees are not deposits and are not held on your behalf. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
7. Payouts
Payouts are the profit-share rewards described on your plan card. They are payable only when every payout condition of your plan is met (for example minimum trading days, payout buffer or consistency rule), your identity has been verified under our AML/KYC Policy, and your account has not breached a rule or been flagged for prohibited conduct. Payouts are made in USD-denominated stablecoin (USDT or USDC) to a wallet you control, or through Rise, at our discretion as to method availability in your country. We target a four-hour average processing time and commit to processing approved payouts within 24 hours; if an approved payout takes longer than 24 hours, we add US$250 to it. Blockchain network fees and any third-party charges are deducted from the payout. You are responsible for any tax due on payouts you receive.
8. Platforms and third parties
Third-party trading platforms (MetaTrader 5, TradingView), market data (including CME Group data) and payment providers are supplied by third parties under their own terms, which you must also accept. We are not responsible for outages, data errors or changes on third-party platforms, but we will reinstate an account where such an event caused an incorrect breach on our side.
9. Intellectual property
The Bold Funded name, logo, website, dashboard, risk engine, educational material and all related content are owned by Bold Funded Ltd or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, resell or create derivative works from any part of the Services.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with notice where practicable, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law or by a platform or payment provider, if we detect fraud or prohibited conduct. You may close your account at any time from the dashboard or by emailing support@boldfunded.com. Termination does not affect payouts already approved unless termination results from your breach.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the Services is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss, loss of profits, or loss arising from third-party platforms, market data, internet connectivity or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Bold Funded Ltd, its officers, employees and contractors against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the Services in violation of law, or your prohibited conduct.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia. Before starting any formal proceedings you agree to contact us at support@boldfunded.com and to spend at least 30 days trying to resolve the dispute in good faith. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saint Lucia, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court. Where local consumer law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, those rights are unaffected.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version and date at the top of this page identify the current Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in your dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect, and your continued use of the Services after that date is acceptance of the updated Terms.
