Trailing drawdown is the rule that fails more funded traders than any other, because the floor moves and most people don’t track it. This trailing drawdown calculator replays your equity day by day and shows the peak, the floor, your remaining room and the exact day a breach happens — for static, end-of-day trailing and intraday trailing modes, with lock levels.

How it works
Static: floor = start − max loss, forever. Trailing EOD: the floor follows your highest end-of-day equity, until equity reaches the lock level; then the floor freezes at start + the lock offset. Intraday trailing: the floor follows every tick high, including open-trade profit — the harshest version, used by some other firms.
The default example is Bold Funded’s Futures Bold rules on $50k: 4% trailing EOD ($2,000), locking at +4.2% so the floor can never rise above start + $100. Once locked, you can never be failed by giving back open profit.
Bold Funded uses end-of-day trailing or static drawdown only — never intraday — and the numbers here are the same formulas our risk engine enforces.
