Challenge pass-rate simulator

Before you pay for an evaluation, run it 3,000 times. This challenge pass rate simulator takes your edge — win rate, average win and loss in R, risk per trade, trades per day — and plays it against a rule set: profit target, daily loss, static or trailing drawdown, minimum days, time limit and consistency cap. You get your pass probability, how you fail, and how long passing usually takes.

Monte Carlo with your win rate and R multiples drawn from a normal spread. It models rules, not markets: a real edge is rarely this stable. Use it to compare rule sets and position sizes, not to forecast.

How it works

Each run simulates trade by trade with outcomes drawn around your average R. Equity is checked after every trade against the daily and overall floors (same logic as the trailing drawdown tool), and the target is checked at end of day once minimum days are met. Consistency, if set, delays the pass until the best day fits under the cap.

The three presets load Bold Funded plans. Try the same edge on each: a trailing-EOD plan with no daily limit often passes more often than a static plan with a tight daily cap for the same trader, because daily limits punish variance.

Treat the output as a comparison tool. A 70% pass rate with a 0.5% risk and 30% with 2% risk is a lesson about sizing, not a forecast.
